Joni Martin, OT
Insulin IQ Certified Coach
âI grew up in California and now reside in Florida with my husband and two spoiled Standard Poodles. Since I can remember I have always wanted to work in the medical field to help people. I was drawn to Occupational Therapy because it helps people regain independence in all areas of their lives.â
âOccupational therapists help with barriers that affect a personâs emotional, social, and physical needs as well as lifestyle changes through healthy eating habits. My experience as an OT has prepared me to work as a Health Coach here on Insulin IQ.â

âI am incredibly passionate about helping people realize that they can enhance their quality of life without relying solely on medications, or enduring chronic diseases. With my medical background, Iâm equipped to guide individuals on their health journeys. I actively educate my hospital co-workers, half of whom are managing metabolic syndrome and taking medications. I love showing them how to eat in a way that optimizes their energy and health outcomes. I am very excited to start you on your journey to better health.â
âMy family and enjoy cooking together, hiking with our pups, travel and camping.â
